I know they are not military now, but I would love to see Historic Helicopters Wessex and Sea King.

I remember many years ago at Cosford seeing a great roleplay of tornados, typhoon (i think), and a chinook, complete with dogfights and the chinook landing with troops piling off it. I thought that was a great spectacle, especially for the younger generation and families, who probably get a bit bored with single jet displays after a while. Is that not possible these days ? The Apache uses pyrotechnics which always looks great.

I don’t think there is an Apache demo at the moment. Most of them are away being remanufactured into AH-64Es

I remember last years virtual Air Tattoo IRC the Pakistani Air Force had intentions to send Mirage V’s (either that or they were just wishing the Air Tattoo a happy anniversary). Now that’d be a ridiculously good addition for the static park (I highly doubt it’d be a display; one can dream)

Apache display has already said they intend to return this year.

I admire your eternal optimism in the face of all the evidence Jason. There has been no announcement from the team in the past year, and the AAC Apache force is fully committed to bringing the AH-64E into service and maintaining a capability with the ever-dwindling number of AH1 cabs.

I am an eternal optimist lol. And speaking of such. Black Eagles schedule mentions that due to 'International airshow' the Black Eagles may not be available between June & August. Doesn't specify any show, but looks like they might be doing a summer tour.

Now that Colombia is showing as ongoing, a 767 dragging two Kfir's would be ridiculous!

From the new ones flashing

Columbia - 767 or 727 with 2 Kfir's

Canada - With snowbirds & F18 busy that weekend - Airbus CC-150 Polaris or C17?

Zambian Air Force - Hongdu JL-10 or Hongdu JL-8

Both these would be nice additions and very much in keping with the trainer theme. Their Spartan would be more likely given the range limitations of the aircraft.

Given that there is a training theme this year:

How about a flypast of some of the various JPs that are still flying in the UK?
Some sort of Hawk set piece, perhaps involving T1s and T2s?
Maybe a static display that includes trainer types from the past - Hawk, JP, Chipmunk, Harvard and so on... lined up with the current trainers - T2, Tutor etc...

No Hawk T1s left apart from the Reds now, 100 & 767 Sqns retired theirs and disbanded in the last week or so.

736 Squadron?

Plus the Medicine Flight birds from Boscombe also retired last week.
