Following Photobucket's retreat on its subscriber policy a couple of years ago, have they recently introduced other money making methods by stealth or did I just not read the T&Cs correctly?
My photos that are embedded in various fora have suddenly been watermarked by Photobucket. On investigation, I found that I have exceeded my monthly 'bandwidth allowance' which I also discovered that with my subscription plan is a measly 25MB. So, not only are Photobucket only allowing embedding of hosted photos if you pay, but it would seem that they want you to pay for other people to see them as well now.
I haven't come across this new watermarking problem until this month, so am assuming its a fairly new thing. Anyone come across it before?
Photobucket bandwidth?
Re: Photobucket bandwidth?
I gave up on Photbucket about three years ago and moved to Flickr. Even though I have to pay for it, it's a massive improvement on Photobucket IMHO.
