NFL Superbowl Flyby Predictions

Post by captainfurious »

Pretty late to be fair.

But what aircraft will it be this year?

Despite trying to enjoy the sport i cant get it. But always love the crowd reaction to the flyby!

Well, that put me in my place! Do I dare suggest harking back to pre internet RIAT guessing? Well, even the BBC showed only 3 seconds. Ill dismiss myself.

Wow, fantastic, F-22 Raptor, F-35 Lightning II, P-51D Mustang, F-16C Fighting Falcon and A-10A Thunderbolt II, only the USAF could pull that out of the "Hanger"........! Just sorry no F-15 Eagle but not complaining....

Steve Hinton's final Heritage Flight, as he's now passed the retirement age for HF pilots mandated by USAF. Apparently his HF retirement date was already extended by 5 years. He will still be doing Navy Tailhook Legacy Flights, as they don't have the same age limitation that the USAF does.

What did you expect? The Beeb (along with Sky) could only broadcast what the US host broadcaster (NBC) chose to show. And the flight would have been overhead the stadium for only a couple of seconds timed precisely to arrive at the end of the National Anthem.
