Hi, does anyone please know the best places for free viewing outside of the airfield?

Still tickets for Friday and Sunday, the best views are on the inside 🙃👍🏼

What might be good spots are off-limit for safety reasons and to allow the local people to keep living as much as possible as they like to live, or are to be paid for, either to RIAT or the landowners.

Not free but the best view of the air display is Totterdown park and view. Be early though on Saturday, as it fills up and the gates are shut. Sunday is not so busy usually.

you can walk or cycle around all the perimeter public roads and footpaths with excellent views trees permitting. Although the last time I did the dust from Shoreham 2015 was still settling so there may be a lot more off limits now.

Pretty sure you can't stop though or you'll be moved on very quickly. Not sure I'd want to rely on using any perimeter roads to watch the show tbh.

it was 2016 I think they stopped any vehicles going down some roads but anyone on bike / foot could pass through. We were directly under the flightline all afternoon without being moved on not sure if that will be allowed now
