Anyone know if Swedish Gripens are arriving today
Pushed to tomorrow, but their support C-130 is here dropping off kit.

"The" website? Which website is "the" website that lists arrival information?

Its not a separate website, it is stated on the General RIAT website within the P8 its tab, that friday is a no go

I don't mind the RJF, they are relaxing to watch. Not everything can be a fast jet.

Czech Mi-8 is currently transiting across from South East. South of London at 1400ft.

Does anyone have a rough idea of arrival timings for tomorrow. Will get there around 10.

I like the Falcons and always make an effort to walk down to see what they bring in static. People take them for granted, few small air forces have been as dedicated to their support of RIAT as the Jordanians. Not to mention the charitable aspect of their support.

US Navy P-8 might be a no-show at this rate...
Where has this come from?

Does anyone have any info on the SK.60s? I overheard on someone's scanner that Gripens were delayed until 1540 tomorrow but haven't heard a word about the SK.60S.

Agree 💯. Always enjoy their display. Every year they get grief but are some of the longest show supporters. At least it’s not the wing walkers!!

Nowhere, presumably. Unless everything that hasn't arrived by lunchtime on Wednesday is now assumed to not be coming :man_shrugging_tone2:

For a small helicopter the Sokol puts on quite a impressive display!

The Navy P8 isn't on today's arrival list. Not the printed ones anyway

If anyone didn't realise, they are nothing to do with the Jordanian AF

The pilots are serving RJAF personnel IIRC

Aircraft are owned by Royal Jordanian Airlines, but crewed by Air Force pilots (and obviously supported by the air force with the Hercules)

Bit of a slow day today but my god the Tornado arrival made up for it. One of the RIAT 2022 Highlights without a doubt.

Yes they are, the pilots are Jordanian Air Force pilots. Whilst the aircraft themselves are not RJAF air force aircraft its incorrect to say they are nothing to with the RJAF, without it they would have no pilots.

Furthermore it doesn't detract from the point in the slightest. Simply reword it from "few small air forces" to "few small countries" if it makes you feel better, the point is the same.

Why are two (what could be considered star items) at the beginning of each show day?

That looked a great display. I watched via planestv feed, so looking forward to seeing it properly over the weekend.
