Revell 1/32 Tiger Moth

Post by DerekF »

Another one that has been in the stash for a long time. This is the old Matcbox kit which is holding up quite well for what is a 40 year old kit. A very enjoyable kit to build with nice fit. Sprayed in Xtracylix RAF Trainer Yellow. The markings are slightly fictitious. The serial is correct but I have no idea that airframe flew in those colours. The rigging was a bit of a faff but worked out quite well.

Wow that looks great! I've only ever tried 2 bi-planes, and both times I fudged up the struts and couldn't get the top wing to site right, so they both ended up in the bin  The look of this makes me want to give it another crack though!
