Academy 1/48 Hunter F.6

My attempt at the Academy 1/48 Hunter F.6. Nice kit overall, the only awkward thing being the undersized pilot's seat that I replaced witha proper scale one. Finished in Hataka Red line acrylics in the markings of XK149 of 79Sqn at RAF Brawdy in the late 1970s. From Xtradecal sheet 48-189.

Very tidy indeed. The sheen/lustre(?) of the grey and green is excellent.

That's a very tidy and well finished model indeed Derek!
Small point though, as I'm a Brawdy veteran with a huge Hunter database...
XK149 as you've modelled her would be from the 229 OCU era at Chivenor when she was a straight F6 with no modified tail brake chute etc.
Once she arrived at Brawdy, conversion to F6A standard was accomplished complete with a new tail code of "34" in the plain white lettering style.
