That section of the Victor was still unpainted on Sunday evening.

Duxford Saturday 12th March:
Two very different aircraft being transformed by new paint:
Visiting today, this XCub has a vintage look but is only two years old:
For the record, Duxford opening hours will change from Sunday 20th March to 1000-1800, and 7 day opening starts from the beginning of April.
Duxford Dash tomorrow, and another H&H Car auction on Wednesday.

So what is the latest on the P-51C? Will we get to see it fly this year?

Duxford Sunday 20th March
A bit late with pictures from yesterday !
Hurricane R4118 and Spitfire NH341 (Aero Legends) were both very busy, and Nellie B was out being prepared for an evening photo event:
Yak 50 G-BVVO and Auster AOP.9 G-CEHR / XP241 were part of a group visiting from Spanhoe:
More visitors:
Finally today (Monday 21st), Herald G-APWJ was loaded aboard trailers for the departure North. Pics courtesy Adam Dickinson:

Thank you all for continuing to keep us posted with the comings and goings at Duxford! Those of us who are overseas very much appreciate it.
Now that right there, ladies and gents, is a cool photo!

Saturday 26th March:
Horrible haze and lighting at Duxford but we were treated to a short display by the Aero Legends Douglas C-47B-35-DK Dakota/KP220/(G-ANAF).
It's off to Leeds tomorrow Sunday: from Aero Legends Facebook

It's off to Leeds tomorrow Sunday: from Aero Legends Facebook
Aero Legends will be performing a Flypast over tomorrow’s ceremony with our wartime Douglas C47 Dakota KP220. KP220 has a fantastic history, originally being delivered to the US Army Air Forces in June 1945 as 44-77104 before being transferred to the RAF as a Dakota IV, serial KP220. It spent the late 1940s operating with No 24 Squadron at Bassingbourn.
We look forward to see you from overhead the City of Leeds at 12:00
Re: Duxford Diary 2022
Great shots! Do you know if the Dakota returned to North Weald or did it re-locate for tomorrows flypast in Leeds?
Re: Duxford Diary 2022
The Leeds flypast was actually today, the Dak headed South after Duxford, not sure of destination.

Duxford Saturday 26th March:
The 'Rides' season is now well under way, today saw Spitfire PT462 flying with Aerial Collective and Classic Wings using Dragon Rapide G-AIDL/TX310 and Tiger Moths G-ANZZ / DE974 and G-AGPK / PG657.
Classic Wings will start their own Spitfire programme next weekend.

Re: Duxford Diary 2022
This question has probably been asked before but in case it hasn't, will the Victor be going back outside when she's finished?
...and pray that there's intelligent life somewhere up in Space cos there's bugger all down here on Earth!
Re: Duxford Diary 2022
The Victor is being moved to AirSpace, probably, this month. The plan is to publicise the day she is moving so the public can see the movement. Once in AirSpace the outer wings and tail will be reattached. She will be there for a few years as there are plans to remodel much of the collections over the next decade.
H5 will be closed for a few months for rearranging, including preparing the next big restoration project.in addition some large items currently stored on north side will be move down into H5. Keep an eye on the website for details.
