Compton Abbas - Saturday 29th Sept 2018

Post by Disaster Area »

With the weather forecast to be good for flying I decided to take the short drive to Compton Abbas Airfield in Dorset.
It proved to be a good decision with a steady flow of visitors coming and going during the day, Compton Abbas's fleet of aircraft used for experience flights were also busy including their pristine Harvard.
A few photos from the day

Very nice set of photos from one of the UK’s most friendly airfields, in my experience anyway. And lovely to see G-EGBS wearing the Civil Air Ensign.

Some very good shots from what I suppose is now my local field following the closure of Old Sarum.
