Turweston VAC Fly-In 25/03/2012 - Pic Heavy

Post by Jetnoise »

A great day in the sun - my first visit to this excellent airfield and certainly won't be my last - the bacon rolls are everything they are cracked up to be!

Amongst the great variety of visitors and based aircraft were these two - a real Storch and a wonderful scale replica.....

Still trying to decide what colour this one is!

A great set, with pictures of some real classic aircraft. Particularly like the Tipsy. Thanks for posting.

Fantastic set.love the way the colour of BZWN changes when the sun shines on it from a different angle

Nice set Ralph with some nice catches notably the Rotorway and Currie Wot!

The Tecnam doesn't look very vintage!!!

Nice set of pictures of a really nice day.

I wonder if you captured any of Cessna 150A G-ARFO? I ask because I flew in with my wife as passenger, her first visit to a fly in (my wife, not the aeroplane!)

Whilst wandering around I took a picture of this pretty thing (the girls quite nice as well... and she's not my better half either  )

Sorry Bex - I have checked through my shots and I am afraid that G-ARFO escaped my camera!
I did spot (but not photograph) a couple of young fillies in period dress wandering around - I should have asked them to pose!
Cheers,

Try this one - go to the 10 minute mark.

Thanks for that, a nice find. Not a bad landing, even if I do say so myself

The young lady in question is called Charli, she was my model for the day. Just one of many girls I'm shooting with this season.
