London Stansted, 13th March 2014

Post by Talldan76 »

Spent yesterday afternoon at Stansted. Was going to spend the day there, but due to the fog changed plans and went to Duxford for the morning... The light was a little challenging - bit of a haze across the field, so some aren't the best!!

Was a pretty quiet afternoon, until about 16:00 - then had 2 Fed Ex arrivals, BA cargo, and several business jets arrive!

Here's some of the photos taken:

Yeah, all taken from the same spot - it is shown as point B on the map on this link: http://www.plane-mad.com/airport-spotti ... -egss.html

Thanks...

Great set of images, certainly a hub for the cargo traffic and the odd exotic biz jet. Think you might have posted in the wrong section though

Doh, that is very true... (Mods - please move if you feel the need!)

Thanks for the feedback!

Great selection! I imagine it's pretty muddy at that spot just now?

It was surprisingly dry, as I was expecting a complete quagmire - very happy it wasn't!!
