Hi
If it is not fog, if it is not rain and if the airfield is not waterlogged, then this time it was the strong gusty breeze that kept many light aircraft away.
The aircraft you see in the pictures bar one or two, are all that turned up on an otherwise bright and sunny day and as it is only 25 miles away from where I live, still a pleasant morning and afternoon.
Unfortunately, one of the Yodels as it taxiid up the field for departure hit soft hole in and the plane upended for a short while and damaged the prop which can be seen in the couple of the pics as well as dirty undercarriage .
Some piocs. Thanks for looking.

Nice pictures.
It was indeed a windy and gusty day, with lots of low level turbulence.
How do I know? That's me in the Pup, 'EV

Nothing as far as I know. I had many happy hours flying in FO but the time had come to move it on to the next owner.
The chap I sold her to intended to keep the aeroplane at Thruxton and I think it's still there.
