With the weather forecast to be good for flying I decided to take the short drive to Compton Abbas Airfield in Dorset.
It proved to be a good decision with a steady flow of visitors coming and going during the day, Compton Abbas's fleet of aircraft used for experience flights were also busy including their pristine Harvard.

Very nice set of photos from one of the UK’s most friendly airfields, in my experience anyway. And lovely to see G-EGBS wearing the Civil Air Ensign.

Some very good shots from what I suppose is now my local field following the closure of Old Sarum.
