Getting back into the groove

Post by wallace »

Now that the lockdown restrictions are easing in this part of the world, the pilots are piloting and I'm photographing them doing it. Also getting used to Capture One as my raw editor

I took a walk up Bishop Hill last week to photograph the gliders operating from the nearby Portmoak field, as they worked the ridge.

A trip back to Scone last week for some re-familiarisation and a visit yesterday gave me my first aircraft photos since March

This 182 hasn't flown in years but is still maintained.

The RV mafia was out that day, caught the RV-3 as it vacated the runway

This wee Cassutt Racer used to be based, it went to China for an air race and hasn't flown since. Back for a bit of TLC

It sure is nice to be back at an airfield, with a camera and meet back up with old friends.

Stay safe, save lives.
