Hardly earth shattering but a fine day's worth of photo-therapy, especially considering that the clocks change next weekend and we'll start getting into the long nights...mind you the night flying starts soon after, so all is not totally dreich!

Re: Scone 17 Oct 20
I always enjoy looking through your Scone threads Wallace and should mention that more often. There's usually some really interesting types up there and I just Googled the airfield - it's an interesting layout isn't it, with the triangle shape.
Also, is it Scone (rhymes with gone) or Scone (rhymes with cone)?
Keep em coming

I was led to believe (by our Scottish saleperson) that its more like Skern but then the regional pronunciations vary so much in Scotland so it could be different for others.
A good example, that same person has talked to me about Glen Garioch distillery and pronounced it much like you would imagine but when I spoke to someone on site he pronounced it glen geary.

Scone (Skoon) or Perth Airport, is the largest GA field in Scotland, with three runways to play with; two hard and one grass, which is usually unavailable in the winter due to waterlogging.
