I've been needing a semi-decent day's worth of aviation photo-therapy for a while and I got a bot of what I needed on Thursday. Here's my photo log of the day...
A visiting Cherokee from nearby Strathallan

A based Arrow doing circuits. I must admit that the pilot has style.

An ACS Flight Training student beginning his night rating. Many thanks to them for setting up this pic as I had to do a wee bit of light painting to get the prop disc.

A friend brought his Emeraude over from nearby Kingsmuir

Another friend, this time in the final phase of his night rating, eventually making an approach to Edinburgh airport before returning back to Scone. I'll be glad when this one is repainted.

A based Jodel, the sun abandoned me at this point

A based Tiger Moth, it never fails to turn my head when I hear it joining the circuit.

Another late return was the based air ambulance, after the flight up from Babcock's base at Gloucester following maintenance. Note the usual floatation bags are not fitted, they are on the relief aircraft

I had to work quickly with this one. A late arrival for a based Cirrus and everyone was wanting to go home.

Lovely Wallace, thanks for sharing. A Tiger Moth will always turn heads, they're just beautiful aircraft aren't they
