Developed from the Sharp Nemesis NXT kit-built Sport class racer (one of which was in the running at Reno a couple of months ago). Very odd that isn't mentioned.

Electric might be ok for smaller types, but it seems hydrogen power is the future for larger aircraft.

Apparently more than a few people have made the weird assumption that it's a re-engined Spitfire...K5054NZ wrote: ↑Sun 21 Nov 2021, 2:21 amDeveloped from the Sharp Nemesis NXT kit-built Sport class racer (one of which was in the running at Reno a couple of months ago). I think you need to place the word 'weird' somewhere else in the sentence SamWissam24 wrote: ↑Mon 22 Nov 2021, 11:36 amApparently more than a few people have made the weird assumption that it's a re-engined Spitfire...K5054NZ wrote: ↑Sun 21 Nov 2021, 2:21 amDeveloped from the Sharp Nemesis NXT kit-built Sport class racer (one of which was in the running at Reno a couple of months ago). Re: Is "Jet Zero" on the way?
I think what prompted it was a Facebook post by the Flyaspitfire.com team which asked something like "What do you think of an electric Spitfire?" when they shared the news story. Some of the comments....oh my. I can see why a lot of aviation folk don't touch social media!Wissam24 wrote: ↑Mon 22 Nov 2021, 11:36 amApparently more than a few people have made the weird assumption that it's a re-engined Spitfire...K5054NZ wrote: ↑Sun 21 Nov 2021, 2:21 amDeveloped from the Sharp Nemesis NXT kit-built Sport class racer (one of which was in the running at Reno a couple of months ago). What is hydrogen power? If you mean hydrogen fuel cells they still need an electric motor so surely they're still 'electric'?Reds Rolling wrote: ↑Sun 21 Nov 2021, 1:42 pmElectric might be ok for smaller types, but it seems hydrogen power is the future for larger aircraft.
