That is very special, I bet it sounds nice.
As I understand it the Sleap Fly-in is a private event for Flying club members only. I wonder where else the Beech plans to visit.

Re: Duxford Diary 2022
Sleap Fly-in definitely only accepting visitors by air, the organisers are not geared up for visitors by road, this year at least. The airfield manager seems a really nice guy and dead keen to encourage air-mindedness particularly amongst the young, so who knows what they'll be able provide next year.
Re: Duxford Diary 2022
The flying on Saturday was a definite bonus, particularly the mini display by the Thunderbolt, silver glinting in the sun with the background of the blue sky.

Needs to lose the spinner to look like a proper T-41B
Wonder why they weren't fitted with spinners? The O-2s weren't either...

Re: Duxford Diary 2022
ARC seem to have a nice contract with BBMF which is good to see.
Re: Duxford Diary 2022
Thanks for the updates. I’ve just spent a few minutes catching up on this thread. Some lovely aeroplanes captured.
Re: Duxford Diary 2022
I managed to squeeze in a post lunch saunter yesterday...
The Spitfire/Buchon practice display/dogfight seemed appropriate, as once back to work watching gun camera film, it included footage of 109s being shot down in July 1944...

Underneath my gruff exterior lies an even gruffer interior...
