Hello!

I got my copy today and after first browsing through it I must congratulate everyone involved on a job very well done!
as an avid sim pilot who started back with the original Falcon and Battlehawks 1942, then graduating to the Dynamix range of sim, the magnificent EA works, EAW and Falcon4 and currently ending up with Wings over Israel, IL-2 and FS2k4, I have lived through many fights and also died in quite a few of them, I think I can say that this book is the best single source for getting information on how it should be done :)

I would have loved to see some more information about avionics packed inside this volume (for example how a gunsight works, how to use a bombsight while divebombing or levelbombing, how to use radar for A2A and A2G work), but there are good online guides available for such things as well, so this is not a major deficiency.

all in all, a great book and one that is worth adding to the collection not only of simmers, but also people who share an interest in the history of fighting in the air, combat aircraft and how technology evolved with tactics and vice versa...

cheers from Austria
