Very overcast here in Essex now. Assume it's similar at OW?

Pretty much, had a lovely little bit of sun during the Shuttleworth Collection's Spitfire display, but other than that been pretty overcast with the cloud mostly broken.

The cloud finally started to break but probably about an hour too late for a prolonged period of good light. There was a big rainstorm when I got back to Bury St Edmunds around 10.30pm so i think it could have been worse though!

An excellent show overall with the 2 Lysanders being the obvious highlight. Was good to finally see the Wren and Bleriot get some air under their wings and that first flypast from the 4 warbirds was the definition of a "wow" moment.

An exceptionally good display with many highlights:

The paired takeoff of the Lysanders
The first time the three racers (Comet, Mew Gull, Hawk Speed Six) have ever flown as a formation
The English Electric Wren (which probably flew more in that one single slot than it has in the last 40 years combined)
Paul Bonehomme's departure in MH434
The first pass by the 4-ship of 3 Spitfires and Sea Hurricane
The Edwardians at the end of the night, finishing in almost total darkness
The first time all 3 NAW replicas (Triplane, M1c, Camel) have flown together

All well and good, but without any sunlight I'm not in the least bit bothered. I shall hold out for better weather.

Hear hear. Its not all about photography!

The Wren going from runway hops last time I saw it to circuits and even topside views was worth it alone, and the ARCo Lizzie's departure hit the sun just right too.

Mike, that is great summary of several 'firsts', what a spectacle the show must have been irrespective of the grey skies. Sorry to have missed one! These British planes flying in British weather only to be expected really!
