It was the first arrival (or one of the first) on Tuesday 2018, but remember Tuesday was an official day in 2018.

Yep, its an incredible list for "firsts" this year, superb effort by the team. If everything turns up

New for me
RAF Poseidon
QinetiQ AW139
HHA Hunter T72
Austrian AF EF2000s
Brazilian AF KC-390 (did see the demonstrator in 2018)
Estonian AF M28 Skytruck
French AF Pc-21s
German AF A340
German AF H145
Hungarian AF Mi24s
Irish AC PC-12
Kuwait AF Typhoon
Lithuanian AF Dauphin
RAF Oman C295MPA
Qatar AF Hawk
Romanian AF An30
USAF KC-46A
Top Aces A-4N

plus a few historics such as the Sabre, the ex ETPS Gazelle in blue may appear this weekend instead.

And of course a first close up of an E-4B, I've seen one across the field at Mildenhall back in the 1990s.

So for rarities, the show is packed. Superb effort.

I’ve done the same, just for the flying items, and got to 23.

If I did the static as well, it would probably sit well over the 150 mark!!

To be fair I was looking at types generally. If we start looking at serials/registrations, two new T-50s, both French PC-21s, etc I could easily hit 50+ I think!

You'll probably get 3x PC-21s with a spare, they took one (and a static) to St Dizier...

Ah yes of course, I was looking at it from the British display point of view which is if you have a two aircraft display, one of those going tech means you either fly a solo or scrub, and not the French approach which is a pairs display requires two aircraft to be serviceable at all times! They of course did the same with Ramex Delta bringing three Mirage 2000s.

Hi everyone

Due to family issues I have had to cancel our trip to Fairford this year but had ordered Friday tickets in advance which I had forgotten about until I just received my email from RIAT !!

PM if you still need Friday tickets - shame to let them go to waste !

Hi everyone, just a quick question.

Did tickets already start being handed out? As I've not received mine yet and I think they were ment to be handed out today.

Check your account on the official RIAT website, they should be available on there to download.

Got mine also. Was a bit confused because I found them under the 2021 order. Was expecting "transferred to 2022" or something like that but the tickets mention: Air Tattoo 2022 so everything all right :)

(Didn't receive any mail though.. )

I didn't get an email either but followed the advice on here and have now printed my ticket (once I got the printer working  ).

Is the E-4 likely to have a fighter escort like the B-2s have in the past? If so I wonder if they might stay with it?

F15's renowned for their ability to take down overzealous enthusiasts in the static park

I'd say most likely no, but there'll be a high presence of security around it!

And guess who's come down really badly with Covid! Thank god it was this weekend and not in two weeks time
