I think it got repainted in grey when it entered service. Apart from the one they've left white to ferry Truss around in.capercaillie wrote: ↑Thu 21 Jul 2022, 12:38 pmHave they repainted it? Was always white with lots of flashing lights when I used to watch? And it didn't have a tail?????

Noise meet 2023
1400L One minutes silence for the fallen ( 2x F15s position at 8 miles 27 and 09)
1401 F15 opposition high speed flypast and max climb.
1404 10 ship Chinook flypast
1410 F22 display . 4x B1s taxi.
1419 4 B1s launch one minute interval half a circuit and turn towards crowd (last lightning show style)
1430 4x F35b hovering (at last a use for them).
1440 show continues with boring turboprops etc while ambulances remove heart attack cases.

Re: RIAT 2023 wish list
Hate to burst your bubble but the Angels are performing at Duluth on the 15th & 16th.
It’s a shame, as they’d be a star performer at any UK show! Wonder why they’re so evasive? Costs? And logistics? Last European appearance was 2006! Long long overdue (well same could be said for a B-1 taking off).
Suppose i’ll have to venture over to see them in their habitat!

Looking forward to the red arrows next year. Back to 9 and the first time I've seen them since 2019.
They are also the reason why I love aviation
