One ACMI Tiger trap - Swiss at Waddington 1994

Some slide scans of the Swiss Air Force then annual deployment to Waddington to use the ranges. Mirage IIIS and F-5E and F-5F Tiger IIs were the order of the day back then before the arrival of their Hornets. The day I picked was meant to be sunny throughout, but ended up with some large blocks of cloud around, still with 4 launches a day, some reasonable opportunities to catch them. Three different RAF Sentries and a NATO example also caught moving. Hope you enjoy.

Another example of why people shouldn't really pee their pants just because the Red Arrows are relocating to Waddington for a few weeks? :rolling_eyes:
Those ACMI Days were absolutely magic & your selection shows the variety of shots to be had from basically one location on one day! :slight_smile:
I'm expecting Paddyboy from over on FC. to blow a gasket around 6am today when he sees these! :joy:
