1994 Koksijde Show

Post by planenuts »

Hi chaps,

The day after Leeuwarden was the show at Koksijde in Belgium. Both shows were well worth the trip. Shame about sun in the eyes for the flying.
All of these reports only feature a sample of what was there, a 'tip of the wing-berg' perhaps......

First up, dumped F-104G Starfighter FX-69.....now at Niederrhein/Weeze in Germany, doing what I don't know

(Most of) Hunter F4 ID-26, now in the same state at Beauvechain

Swedish Viggen, German Tornado, French Mirage F1.....don't we miss this sort of stuff.....

French AF Mirage F1C from EC12 Cambrai

Old scheme Belgian AF Alpha Jet......I believe they have just been retired from Cazaux

Italian AF F-104S Starfighter from 53 Stormo Cameri, on static but poorly positioned outside the public area

Both of them........

Belgian AF F-16C with a special tail celebrating......something

Swedish AF Sk60A from the Team 60.....Team

Meaner-looking Sk60C cousin, with heavier wings

Swedish AF Tp101 (Beech 200)

Hunter F4 ID-123 preserved at gate.....now mysteriously gone during 2014, don't know where

Finally, HSS-1 Seabat B-8 (OT-ZKH) also preserved at gate.....also disappeared at the same time. Maybe they eloped

That's all folks.......next time, off to France for a smashing day out.....Au Revoir !!

Happy snapping, chaps,

Rupe
Name someone who loves you enough to die for you. I can only think of 1.......there is only 1

Great stuff! I have never seen that rocket load-out on the Sk-60 before. Was that only a 'show off' or a realistic armament load-out?
