Point Cook RAAF Museum. Victoria, Australia.

Post by Wbirdnut »

Going through some pic’s the taken back in 2013, I see from their Web site the Point Cook
Museum is closed until June 2022 as they are improving inferstructure visitor access and
installing new exhibits, great museum with a large diverse collection.

Be interested to hear if anyone knows was the conversion to the strafer nose a
field mod and did they just paint over the perspex?

Fantastic photos of a place I'm very excited to visit (and so many other museums and sites of interest nearby)!

Thanks oz rb fan, would have been a job and a half making up all those rounded
panels, not to mention mounting all the .50s! Here's the rest of my set from Point
Cook, great museum with a large diverse collection.

The Walrus a true machine of intrigue, seems hard to believe she was designed
by the same chap who came up with the Spitfire.
