seeing as Skylive has confirmed the mk58 hunter ZZ190 from HHA for static, could Cosford get it for a couple of fly pasts? anything for me to hear that blue note!

HHA typically only make static appearances. And AFAIK the Swiss Hunters did not make the same blue note as the RAF F6s - something to do with the gun barrel set-up IIRC. The lovely ex-Kennet (later Dutch) F6 used to make a great blue note.

i remember when the f86a from golden apple operations and miss demeanour made an appearance at the 2010 show. do you think a sabre (the one from mistral warbirds) could make an appearance?

No. I believe there's a CAA limitation on the aircraft displaying in the UK.

There’s no Apache display on the circuit this year.

Just to confirm - that is just a spitfire/typhoon formation arrival , not the full pairs display of a few years ago?

Looks that way. Arrival and flypast only. Doesn't seem to be a syncro pairs display.

That would indicate the BBMF might be displaying right after the Typhoon?

Is that confirmed? Their social media has been dead since a post saying we will return in 2022.

I would have loved to have seen the Apache back, but as time went on, the less likely it became.

Even without a display, one would have thought it to be a great opportunity for the AAC to show off their brand new E-model Apaches on static.

First chance for the general public to see this - one of my favourite machines in the preserved Cosford fleet. She just looks like a proper warplane!

In a post re weekend flying for the next two weeks, RAF Valley just let slip that they’ll be “recovering their aircraft after the show” on the show Sunday. Assume therefore that there’s some sort of Hawk T2/Texan/Jupiter participation in the flying. Flypast maybe?

Had some hawks fly past in previous years so it would be a nice announcement as we are clutching for information right now

I really am hoping for a huge jubilee update.. if not there will be alot of folks disapointed. Surely the black cat(s) should be displaying ?

No Wingwalkers, Only 7 Reds, No apache so no pyro. The general punters wont be happy with that, let alone us enthusiasts.

Alternatively, could they be flying in to be on static and leaving after the show later in the day?

I hope for those going it's because they're flying, but it only mentions them coming back.

If it was a Jupiter, perhaps (though in past shows they’ve usually just departed on the Monday).

Re Hawk - I stand to be corrected but I suspect the runway is too short for them to land. Texan, I don’t know. Probably doable, the Tucano could, but I guess we’ll have to see.

Of course, if the show actually announced something, then we’d have no need to speculate 😂

Promising stuff.

I suspect (or should that be hope) that there will be a Jubilee themed update tomorrow.

Hopefully the Hawks/Texans will perform a flypast similar to the one for the jubilee.
My best guess would be the aircraft would relocate to Shawbury on the Friday and operate from there before flying back to Valley following a flypast, here's hoping!!.

I'm not expecting anything. I don't think I've ever been so underwhelmed by an airshow as I have Cosford this year. The flying display looks - at present - threadbare and the comms have been awful. The show is next weekend - you would have thought they'd have been on the hype train on socials etc.

But I guess they're sold out and the general public seem to be happy when they do post so maybe it's just me.

You’re not the only one feeling that trust me. Cosford normally preps me nicely for riat but I’ve been so underwhelmed by the comms of the team I’m sort of expecting nothing and hoping for a lot of surprises

Surprised there’s not been a Jubilee update though tbh.
