Disappointing Rafale and F16 have rehearsed.

What do we think are the chances of them rehearsing again tomorrow?

Having seen the 2022 Rafale display several times at LFA last week, I’d say it is excellent. Why did you find it ‘disappointing’?

Don't think it was the practice that was disappointing.. I think it was the fact they missed it. And the F16 didn't rehearse, he just had a recce and went back to Brize.

I think they meant that it was today, rather than tomorrow.

Suspect now they’ve validated they won’t bother tomorrow, same with the F-16. Who knows!

I haven’t been there today so can’t confirm, but it sounds as though today was the day to be there. Not much else to validate/arrive.

According to (unsourced) comments around the place (can’t link, apols), Saturday was the “reserve” day for PDA. Obviously both the Belgian/French fast jets managed to validate today, so they probably won’t be around tomorrow.

If anyone does turn up today, the ladies in the cafe have asked enthusiasts not to park in the small train station car park by the bridge (presume because it’s limited and stops customers from using it!), just use the massive relief car park over the road opposite the entrance to the base (not the airfield) - oodles of space in there.

I recall parking in there when attending to watch the Tornadoes on their goodbye tour flypast. It was mental 😤

Absolutely dead today so far. AW189 has arrived. Historic Helis are on ADSB east of Weston SM.

The yellow/black Tutor has been pulled out of the hangar and there are people milling about so perhaps a practice is due.

The Whirlwind and SK have taxied over into static.

Lynx and Wessex displaying later today and the former is parked live side (and Wessex currently refuelling), so I presume both will be displaying tomorrow
