An12BP

One of those flew overhead at 29,000 feet yesterday on its way South from Birmingham. Very noisy I saw the 4 exhaust plumes but the engine noise sounded like something much nearer.

Are they a common sight?

Yep, used to be daily a few years back but they're still at least once a week now.

They’re picking up in & out of BHX recently, getting a couple a week as well as a couple of An-26

I’ve not seen this one at BHX though & it seemed to rumble a fair bit more than others

Two a day has been common this week, mostly late at night, they're right noisy buggers
