One of those flew overhead at 29,000 feet yesterday on its way South from Birmingham. Very noisy I saw the 4 exhaust plumes but the engine noise sounded like something much nearer.
Are they a common sight?

They’re picking up in & out of BHX recently, getting a couple a week as well as a couple of An-26
I’ve not seen this one at BHX though & it seemed to rumble a fair bit more than others

It has been glorious over the past week or so, sitting working at home to hear that soviet era drone as one of the two types took off. Nice distraction
