G-FPLD Beech 200 went north to south right over Nottingham at 09.10 but that was only at 3600ft, nothing else showing on FR24 at that time

Thanks guys, but it was more like 10.15 and definitely jet powered. Same thing happened yesterday too, but a little later. Nothing showed up then either :dunno:

Probably F-15s from Lakenheath, they don't usually show on any tracking sites.

Thanks, yeah I did consider it could be them. But it just sounded slower and heavier. Perhaps they were performing a high alpha pass for me.

Morning all,
Just noticed this on ADSB, never seen this before - two E3's orbiting clockwise/counter-clockwise with about 2k ft separation. One from NATO, the other from the RAF.

Had something fly over my house around 30 mins ago in Dudley, West Midlands quite loud. Think flying East to West direction. There were 3 sets of contrails when I got outside but I was too late to see what it was. Any ideas what it was folks ?

Why don't you add tags to show the type, serial & callsign, that'll save you clicking on each one to find out what it is?

A BA flight has just left LGW for LHR, another about to take off for the same place. Also an easyJet for Bristol and one from Manchester. Another eJ arrived from Berlin earlier and heading back soon.
Sadly they are heading North after take-off so I can't see them from my house

Your A400M is showing on ADS-B as being ZM415 'Ascot480'.

Unidentified AN26 West of Faversham at 4400 feet

Descending into Southend?

Yup - Southend from Zurich.

Any ideas about the identity?

easyJet doing lots of sorties from LGW to other non standard UK airports (Manchester and Southend) currently.

Also a few little loops LGW-LGW; hope this isn't a daft question but when they do short test flights like that do they have to make sure they have sufficient fuel to go somewhere else in case anything goes wrong? and if so do they have to dump it?

They'll have diversion fuel and are probably light enough to land anyway. The A320 and A319 don't have any fuel dumping capability.
