Snap! Always nice to hear a deeper drone than the usual Aurigny ATRs.

Am I the only one who lays awake at night and wonders if that sounds like an Antonov at 1230am

This looks like it landed in the middle of Horley - but I guess it was at Gatwick.
Is this an unusual occurrence - the track appears to be about a mile North of where it probably is - unless is it now taxying around Horley town centre

Interesting to see a USN EP-3E and F/A-18 tracking over the Romanian coast. EP-3 is from Souda Bay, bot sure wgere the Hornet has come from. Several Ukranian helicopters heading from Brasov UR-82522, 82520 and 82322? Normal tankers, MC-12 and RC-135's up as they have been for days.

Re: The FR24/PlanePlotter Thread
Was interesting watching ADSB this afternoon.
There is a NOTAM for Blackpool saying GPS jamming is in operation and a No Fly Zone for drones - due to Tory Conference in the town centre.
The altitude of aircraft in the Blackpool area ( all of them ) has been mental. Fluctuating madly all day.
At one stage the whole airport seemed to rotate as aircraft on approach (3 of them ) all were heading in the wrong direction and a light aircraft I could see heading north was plotting westerly. All other light aircraft were all similarly “skewed” at the same time. Then the Airport moved and all aircraft were landing on my house for a while - they weren’t but ADSB showed all aircraft a mile North of where they were - they were landing and a couple were helicopters I could see actually landing a mile away.
Don’t think it was a coincidence- but happy to be proven wrong.

Re: The FR24/PlanePlotter Thread
Had lovely sight and sound of Hurricane 2-seater 'Pegs' fly past my house yesterday midday/early afternoon, and when I checked on FR24/ADS-B it was showing up as not a Hurricane with the G-reg....was coming up as a microlight or something, so data wrong, but interestingly, it took-off from White Waltham and headed south down to the coast and did a few circles and loops off Selsey Bill, and then headed back to White Waltham, and flew back past me again, only closer on the return leg.
Looked like one of the standard pax sightseeing flights, but was surprised to see it operating from White Waltham instead of its home at Biggin.

It's now owned by Hurricane Heritage and based at WW, though is often flying from Duxford.GeeRam wrote: ↑Tue 26 Apr 2022, 9:08 amHad lovely sight and sound of Hurricane 2-seater 'Pegs' fly past my house yesterday midday/early afternoon, and when I checked on FR24/ADS-B it was showing up as not a Hurricane with the G-reg....was coming up as a microlight or something, so data wrong, but interestingly, it took-off from White Waltham and headed south down to the coast and did a few circles and loops off Selsey Bill, and then headed back to White Waltham, and flew back past me again, only closer on the return leg.
