Currently picking up CONVOY 3921 on 132.3 just been calling for a left turn heading 360.

No location ( can't find it on any of the tracking sites ) so don't know if it's inbound Fairford or not.

Edited to add...
May be 3521 not 3921 ( reception's not too good from my location )

Herc just north of Newquay northbound, nothing to do with Fairford (US Navy in Europe supporting a USAF deployment from the US...? ;) )

I predict the B-52s will start arriving either tomorrow or Friday.
Why?
Because I start back to work tomorrow night after 17 days holiday ( so yes, the crap weather of the last few weeks is my fault ).....and sod's law says that in keeping with previous deployments I'll be working

Hmmm.......
May be something, may be nothing....
ADS-B Exchange currently has at least 3 B-52s up to the North of Nashville, showing as heading roughly NE.
Granted there have been a couple up over the last few days, but those were much further West.

At least 3 KC-135s ( SPUR callsigns ) now up off the coast of Boston ( Mass. , not UK )
Related to the B-52s or not? ( Wouldn't have thought they'd need to AAR if they're just transiting to the UK )

B-52s no longer showing on ADS-B Exch. after coasting out near Boston.
Four 'SPUR's currently over Nova Scotia, same altitude block as the B-52s were at.

Edited @ 13:12hrs to say....
Two B-52s now showing again -- with the 4 'SPUR's and still over Nova Scotia ( South of Halifax )

And again at 13:30hrs to add...
Back on the move again -- the KC-135s are RTB, the B-52s are coasting out towards Newfoundland

NOTAM's been changed :
B) FROM: 19/10/10 13:00
C) TO: 19/10/10 23:00
E) FAIRFORD MIL ATZ ACTIVE. AD AND RWY 09/27 OPEN.

Edited at 17:05hrs to add....
No idea how far out they are ( not heard any comms and they're not showing on ADS-B Exch.) but I think 'GOLD 83' and 'REACH 417' coasted-out about the same time as the B-52s -- '83 has just entered Scotland and '417 is approaching the Irish coast

Both unrelated to the bombers.

GOLD83 is with the MO F-15s, RCH727 was the support.

I know....my point was that they coasted out at around the same time as the B-52s, the GOLD flight ( which unless I'm mistaken is dragging more F-15s across to Lakenheath ) at roughly the same speed and the REACH flight about 80-100Kts faster.
Think there was a RAFAIR flight also at around the same time.

I think Brevets point was regarding their position and timing and that the B52's might not be far behind. Not that they were in any way related to the B52 movements.
