Re: Fairford NOTAM

I checked yesterday morning, in the afternoon ( around 16:00hrs ) and again late in the evening but no NOTAM was up on the NATS website.....was it taken down early?

Re: Fairford NOTAM
It was removed at around 12.15 yesterday (possibly due to the crosswind), you're not being abusive to me - are you feeling OK?

Re: Fairford NOTAM
I'm lulling you into a false sense of security....or saving it until the next time I'm bored, or something.
Given the various goings-on over the past few days, I was expecting it to be NOTAMed as open if only in case of possible diverts.....sod's law that the only previous one was in between the times I checked.

Re: Fairford NOTAM
Quite a lot of F-15s were doing regular training flights from Lakenheath earlier today and their diversion airfield was Ramstein in case of the runway at Lakenheath being closed for any reason, not Fairford and not any RAF base.

Re: Fairford NOTAM
B-52Hs out of Fairford. Currently on Planefinder Dump 12 &13. Dump 11 also launched with them. I can't see it on Planefinder. Apparently all 3 in formation and eyeballed near Northampton.

On ADS-B I tracked Dump 12/13 flying over Mildenhall before heading south now over North Sea towards Belgium and 2x Belgian F-16 heading their way.

ADS-B is wrong! Do NOT believe the serials you see on these military radar sites.IATthenRIAT wrote: ↑Tue 08 Sep 2020, 6:00 pmon ADS-B one was showing with a different serial from the six already there - i cross checked it agianst the FFD mil site 61-0032.
