Beech 18 with stripes
Beech 18 with stripes
About 3.15 this afternoon what I think was a Beech 18 flew over Corby on a south-north course. I only got a quick glimpse but it looked like it had D-Day stripes on the lower wings and fuselage.

Likely 1564/G-BKGL.

G-BKGL has indeed now been painted with D-Day markings. It should be making an appearance throughout the D-Day celebrations as a camera ship I believe.

That's what I've heard too. She was also at the Compton Abbas vintage fly-in on 12th May. Good nose-art!
