RAF QRA scrambled 17 Sep 2020

Post by T_J »

It appears to be Russian Naval Aviation. The Russian Navy maritime patrol Morse Code nets are active.

Two Morse Call signs very active using HF with signals booming out here in the UK. So likely 2 x Tu-142s. Sending figure messages back to control.

Voyager ZZ336 currently over the North Sea.

Tu-142s also active in HF Voice on 5606 Kilohertz USB. Sending figure messages back to control.

If anyone wants to listen to the Tu-142s on HF.

Enter 5606 Kilohertz USB at following online receiver.
