Helicopter at Burton Bradstock

Post by frank »

Walking along the coast today, I could have sworn I saw a Sea King practising along the beach a few miles east of Burton Bradstock. It was a distant into the sun view but definitely looked like one.

Not far from Portland, looking at Google Maps, so wouldn't surprise me.

I thought they had all been retired. Good to see one out and about. Who operates them

Heliocopter - that`s the one. Recognise the colour scheme and dome just aft of the rotors.
