I think that covers it? I wish people would stop posting stuff like this, I've got nowhere to put one!

Thanks guys for the comments. Just another quick update on the Mosquito. I'm nearing the finish and with just a week to go. Thankfully I have Tuesday and Wednesday off work so I'll finish up the kit on one of those days.

Saturday I was able to spray on the clear finish and being Sunday I was able to start on with the decals and adding some dirt and oil to the engines.

Saturday pictures first.

The one shot from Sunday for now. Decals started and adding some dirt where needed including the engines. I'll add more wear and tear once the decals are done.
Image

On a side note.... Saturday I needed to go to the hobby shop for some dull finish from Tamiya, while there I found this! Excited about the rumour of maybe seeing a Mirage F.1B for maybe the last time at RIAT this kit just said "Buy Me!" I'll start it when a aftermarket cockpit becomes available since KittyHawk provided a rather boring one. If anyone knows of a aftermarket set available or in the works please let me know.

Thanks again for the comment and having a look. C&C always welcome.

Thanks for that Dan. As much as I would like what you said. There have been a few kits built by others in other builds that I think should have that honour in my opinion.

Ok guys... the kit is done. Sure there is going to have be a few tweaks here and there in the near future, like tightening up the cables, adding some more dirt to the tires and building some kind of base with grass and all for a nice diorama with engine cowls off and all.

First up is a few working shots from a few days ago.

Next up is a little tip if any of you build this kit. If you don't want to have a huge amount of clear film on this decal to hopefully not silver. Your going to have to cut it up. First up is the decal.
Image

Decal sliced up.
Image

Sure doing it this way adds a little more difficulty but this is the end result with some micro sol and some micro set.

Next up is two shots of the finished kit... Geez it was close on this build. The rest of the shots are in the finished gallery. All that is holding the cowl parts on is some clear tape that you can see in some of the shots.

My only problem now... Where the heck do I put the thing?
Thanks for looking and I really did enjoy this build. Both the amount of time allowed and the kit as well.

C&C is always welcome... Till the next build!
