Cold War GB - Revell 1/72 Canberra PR.9 *FINISHED*

Post by TBPhoto »

Decided to join in with this GB with this Canberra. Got it today for £12.99, I hope to do a Hawker Hunter too, but I am starting with this one

Revell's 1/72 Canberra PR.9, XH135 from 13 Squadron, or XH136 from 39 Squadron. I don't know which to do though! You decide! I'll have a vote, just say which scheme you'll prefer!

I will keep you updated, will start it some when this week starting with the cockpit. It will be hand painted, but I will do my best! Hope you like it!

Well done Tommy, great to see you in on this.

My vote is for the one with the smaller tail squadron badge. Not sure whether that's XH135 or XH136.

Looking forward to your next update mate.

Well, I've finished the cockpit, and glued the fuselage together, will do some more of the model tonight and tomorrow night! This is hand painted!
Ok, not the best painted pilot but hey ho!

Nice one, this kit is currently £5.99 at modelzone  I picked one up and was going to throw it into the mix. Any objections to building the same kit in a different livery?
I was going to do an ebay purchased F-104 but when it arrived it had embossed markings in USAF livery, no good to this build me thinks !

I've decided I am going to paint it in its camo, I will use that scheme, unless you all want the beige scheme?

Camo is a good choice, do you mind if I enter the grey scheme then if you are definitely going camo? This will best compliment my planned Nimrod build also, time permitting of course!
