Revell GB - P-51B ++FINISHED++

Post by Deacon »

Now you just knew I was going to be entering one of these. :lol:

I won't be using the kit decals as I have already built both versions you can make up, so I'll show
the decals I'll be using once I have chosen them.

Well the wings are on and the seams have been tidied up.

I hope to get it undercoated tonight if it's not too cold in the garage.

That was quick, do people often end up doing more than one group build subject ??

Nice work Alan.
I'm considering this kit as I want something a bit more fun, quick and with not much filling and sanding, for the GB!
Watching the build with interest.

That was the old days mate. :lol:

I like to have several builds on the go to fill time when I'm waiting for stuff to dry or the weather to be right for spraying etc. :whistle:

OK it's finished.

There are some things that are bugging me however.

I can't spray the satin varnish that I use to finish it off as it's too cold in the garage so it's too shiney (shinney/Shinny.....)

The other thing is that I think the undercarriage is angled too far forward.

Hay ho.

I thought that when I done my P51B. Doesn't look quite right.

Nice model though, good work, Alan.
