Post by Deacon »

This is the 1:72 Hobby Boss kit which I will be making as the French Air Force, 330-EE, 2006 NATO Tiger Meet aircraft.

The answer is no. Hobby Bos have put the pivot for them in the wrong place! If you pivot them upwards, the engines
get in the way!

So, I've split open the fuselage, got them out and will just butt joint them in the right locations.

Thanks mate.

But I must admit that I am worried this kit is going to bite me.

Some paint added.

I need to do the fuller Tiger Meet decals as I have a 1:48 Rafale that has the other scheme I was going to do.

Started the decaling and i have to say that the fit isn't too good.

I think you can make out the gaps. But we'll see how I get on filling those.

Looks alright there Alan... Strange for Hobby Boss to screw up on the decals. That is usually the area they are really good at. Are you going to try and paint in the gaps between the decals?

You know what, it beat me too.

I won't be completing this in time for the end of the GB.
