Not the most popular of GBs as it's turning out but undaunted, another pair. Firstly the Minicraft Lockheed Constellation. Rather unfortunate decal placement though.
At the same time, a Minicraft Boeing 707-436. I'll finish it in one of the BA markings.

Good to see you keeping up the good work Derek!
I should be in soon with another Minicraft kit in the shape of a KC-135E!
Arabest,
Geoff.
Ps, Spoke to your dad the other week, was good to see him!

nice selection, looking forward to those. I do wish minicraft would not mold the cockpit area separately as they are a pain to fill and sand, has put me off their kits a bit.
Re: 1/144 Group Build - A pair of 4-engined airliners
The great thing about these airliner kits is that they come together very quickly.
I'm going to use a decal for the 707 flight deck windows so I'll sand smooth the join.

Just about ready for decals.
Should have taken my own advice about masking tape. Lots of paint to touch up.

Now finished. Finished with a brush and a mix of Revell and Xtracrylix acrylic paint.
Definitely going to choose something easier next time.
