We just conducted an interview with Rick Groombridge an ex BBMF Lancaster, Lightning, Phantom, Tornado F3 and Mirage 3/5 pilot. He gives a great insight into his career with the great back drop of "Just Jane" at East Kirkby. So I thought I would share with my fellow enthusiasts, enjoy :)

This interview sees ex RAF pilot, Ken Norman chat about his time flying the Buccaneer and Canberra. He chats about his time on 31, 16 and 208 squadron as well as flying the Buccaneer at Red Flag at Nellis and its surprising how well it did out there!

F-111 navigator tales.

Here is an interview with an RAF navigator talking about his exchange tour with the RAAF flying the F-111 Aardvark. He also tells us about his time on the Buccaneer and Tornado GR1 while comparing them to the F-111.

I found it very interesting that he mentioned that he rarely ever flew in 45 or 67 wing!

Neil Farrell chats about his time flying the Westland Wessex, E-3 Sentry, Instructing on the Tutor, the Avro Lancaster and the Dakota on the BBMF.
He gives some stories of flying all the types as well as the training process for them all.

I find these very interesting. Particularly, Justin Paines discuss his time on Harrier - excellent.
