Well its happened! Ive managed to finish a project that i originally intended to do over 6 months, 10 days short of the 3 months of this GB! :yahoo:

First up is Seafire XV PR474/116-Y of 806 NAS on board HMS Glory while in the Far East during 1946. Built by cross-kitting the Spitfire XII with the spare unfolded wing and associated parts from the Seafire XVII. Painted using Humbrol EDSG/Slate Grey over Sky and highly recommended decals from Freightdog Models.

The second of the project is last one started and ended up being the first to the finish line.

This one should have been OOB, but as the XV required the radiators, rudder and hooks plus other items, a resin set was obtained from Heritage Aviation Models to supply the now missing parts. Finished as with markings from the box as SP343/126-CH of 1832 NAS RNVR based at Culham during 1950, and painted with EDSG over Sky.
