48 Hour Photo Competition- Old Warden

Post by Seamus »

Inspired by yesterday's Season Premiere, lets see your best images from what I'm sure for many is their favourite airshow venue in the UK. Three pics as usual please.

Never been to a show there but as it says "venue", where's some dusty hangar shots from many moons ago.

A terrific range of entries, not a bad picture on here (mine excepted). Good luck picking one!

Another excellent topic with some cracking shots so far.
It's not just about aircraft at Shuttleworth.

Picking three was challenging - good luck judging this one!

Thanks for all the superb entries, another tough decision. Stu's Spitfire scene is lovely, while Mark's Mossie is just obscene. However, 5944's sunset Boxkite sums up everything that is unique and wonderful about Old Warden, so I'm giving the win to him.

Over to you!

Well done Nigel, any of his entries could have won to be honest. Lovely stuff.

as for Mark's Mossie, it is obscene, and unfortunately it was being flown more and more aggressively in its latter life, it was gone less than 12 months later. Very sad.

I hope that isn't a suggestion that the Mosquito and its crew were lost because it was being flown "more aggressively".
