HI folks,

I saw this Herkie coming in at Ramstein Airbase on Oct 13th 2005
Couldn't believe when I saw that it was an Iraqi AF herc.

Cheers,

Nico van Remmerden

I don't do, or like faceache, are they still lifting the pics from this thread? I'm thinking of digging some old slides out, but I don't want them going elsewhere.
"Nice pics mate" comments only! No criticism please.

Hi everyone!!!
Very interesting topic. I'm so glad to see very impressive shots and many examples from Chilean Air Force.
I share my first three images.

Some scans of mine, unsure of date but I must have been around 13 to 15 years old (1997/1999) as these are taken on a Pentax MZ-50.

All taken at Marshalls, Cambridge.

The aircraft was operated by the 164th AS, 179th AW, Ohio ANG and was painted to represent the WW2 markings worn by P-51 Mustangs of the 363rd Fighter Squadron in 1944, to which the 164th can trace its heritage back to. The wing ceased being a fighter unit in 1976,

My happy memories of the C130 is when in 1980 we at 54 had the chance to fly to Deci for 54's apc that year and we were shown on the way in a long line of f104' s from the italian air force on landing, what a memory, thank you RAF.
