Replaced the images lost, from late 2020 to the present.

Not much action for obvious reasons, NSW Air Ambulance in and
out this evening for a not serious medical evacuation.

Lord Howe Island is serviced by a two weekly ship that brings supplies, due
to recent floods the ship was unable to operate so the government stepped
in to fly in vital cargo. Larger items like gas cylinders bare beyond the capability
of smaller aircraft and with the higher demand of the Easter holidays it was
looking like we may run out of gas, no gas no cooking! This afternoon a RAAF
C130J arrived with gas cylinders. Thank you government and thank you RAAF!

This Herc wears commemoration markings for the 75th anniversary of 36 Sqn who
have operated Loadstars, DC3s, C130E and H model and currently the C130J.

So yesterday’s Herc had an APU fail couldn’t get her started so she overnighted.
Image

I’m sure some on here will fill me in on what the below devices do? I’m going
with Reversing lights, camera and maybe some sort of defensive sensors?
Image

Rescue Herc came in with prepare parts and started pack to get her sorted.

Lights always harsh light late in the afternoon so tried a different angle, nice to
get the prop vortices.

Most grateful to those who posted and sent messages so I could be there
for this ones arrival, I hate missing the rarer ones ,bit of a team effort so
much thanks to all!

I guess I am a bit biased because of their history, I think they are

Captured this visiting PC 12 Monday 7/6/21 while waiting at the airport before
our winter holiday on the mainland.

Bit surprised by the visit by one of the RAAF’s new Spartans today, did a few
touch and goes, parked up for a bit without shutting down then departed.

She’s looking a little weather beaten for her age?

Nice set, glad to still see you active. Never seen a CT-4 Airtrainer, we still have about 10 Airtourers flying in the UK but they are getting pretty rare. Lovely shots of the C-27 and C-130.

Now that New Zealand has opened up to Australian's with no need to isolate
we should start to see a few ferry flights across the Tasman Sea. Have been
told there is quite a back log of aircraft needing to move.

Was told a tail dragger was due, atisipated something else, this Maule currently

Looking forward to a few more tail draggers in the not too distant future hopefully??

Not the best angle of her coming in, beggars can’t be choosers I guess.

This one may well be up there with one of my rarest spots, only airworthy Yeoman
in the world of very few that still exist, I believe? Happy to be corrected if incorrect?

Love the starburst scheme.

Ag aeroplanes never get a looker tag, this thing isn’t so bad from some angles.

This stunning machine came through late this afternoon, low cloud and rain so
not the best conditions, hopefully a bit better tomorrow.

The flat light makes her pop a little I think, threw in a black and white for good measure.

More tomorrow morning if all goes to plan, on to NZ via Norfolk Island.

Up with the lark to see the Lockeed 12 off, much nicer day, aiming to be in
Auckland via Norfolk Island this afternoon.

Lovely images and video. I saw this aircraft at Wangaratta prior to its departure but sadly it didn’t fly that weekend. Thanks for sharing.

Finally got around to converting some old video footage to digital,
some of the clips were filmed twenty years ago. Also please excuse
or feel welcome to correct the commentary.

Ferry flight from NZ to OZ around 2003?

Built for Tora, Tora, Tora, this converted Harvard again crossed the
Tasman Sea around 2003?

Another Tasman Sea crossing, she was sold from NZ to OZ and is now
back in NZ.

No idea when this happened?

Again can't date this one, fairly average footage of the HARS Connie.

All New Zealand made machines.

Bit of action earlier this week, “EOF” came from mainland Australia stayed a
couple of days, she left east bound for Norfolk Island on her way home early
today. Checked Flightaware (4.31mins) LDH to NLK.
Image

Royal Flying Doctors King Air, usually get NSW Air Ambulance, nice scheme on
this one.
Image

Image

Another “ZK” across the ditch, this time west bound, 2pm today in and out
for fuel from Christchurch via Keri Keri (3.01mins) direct to Lord Howe Island
(4.34mins) and on to Coolangatta (2.09mins) for a new owner in Oz.
Image
Love the taped on ZK, New Zealand registered aeroplanes are not required
to display the ZK prefix in New Zealand, when they fly internationally this
is required.

Thank you for sharing these, the RAAF paint schemes on these two look very smart - as do so many in their inventory (the Hawk springs to mind in particular). Yes, I know it's grey, but, to me, grey done well.

Thank you, The RAAF have 10 Spartans and 12 C130J Hercules, there was a
recent announcement they will replace the Herc's in the not to distant future.

They also have eight C17s.
