48hr Photo Comp: Best aerobatic/stunt performer.

Post by GeorgeP »

I have always admired those who perform aerobatics, wing-walking, ribbon cutting and other 'stunts' at airshows. Let's see your images of your favourite. I'll post mine tonight, after I get home.

Paul Bennet performing at the 2018 Tyabb Airshow in his Pitts.

I was chatting with some other staff members last night, and (I think) we all agreed that the RJF are the best Extra flying team at the moment.

Wasn't sure if the national Aero Display teams were gong to be considered acceptable, but the clue's in the name, so for me there was only one option...

Hold on, this is for the OP to referee, but to my interpretation, it would be display aerobatic/light aircraft types, not fast jets or national aerobatic teams. Or we're going to lose two future categories in a big free for all

Personally, one of the best solo aerobatic displays has to be the Equipe de Voltige de l'Armée de l'Air. In the hands of Victor Lalloue, the unlimited aerobatics routine he performed in his Extra 330SC at the Paris-Villaroche Air Legend in 2019 was spectacular.

My bad, I should have made it clear from the outset that any form of aero, stunt... etc would be acceptable. That includes defence force teams/solos. A nice range of submissions so far.
