48 Hour photo comp: Tiger Tiger Burning Bright!

Post by Tuckat »

The next topic is aircraft that have a Tiger themed paint job. Not as common now as they once were, but this is a bit of self indulgence as I love them! One entry each please.

Mine is from a RIAT in the 1990s

I loved this aircraft - I think I stood and looked at it for about half an hour. It quite rightly won 'best in show' or whatever the award is called, at RIAT 2013

Not sure if this one counts, but have an RN Sea King HC.4 in Arctic 'tiger' stripes. RIAT 1996.

Im always amazed by the quality of photography submitted on this site, any one of those posted could have won. Each photo is worthy of an honourable mention, so straight to the final three, which are:

3rd. Nicks Sukhoi, beautiful aircraft in superb light.

2nd. Peters Rafale. One of the best schemes in recent times.

1st. Sarahs Gazelle. Im not a great fan of Nightshoots, but something kept dragging me back to this photo, very atmospheric. Well done Sarah, over to you!

Wow, thank you. Certainly wasn't expecting that considering the quality of the other entries.

Will get my thinking cap on and post the next comp soon.
