Evening Air Show 16/07/22
Re: Evening Air Show 16/07/22
O dear, this evening show was originally planned as a 90th anniversary celebration for the opening of Old Warden airfield and Richard Shuttleworth purchasing Moth G-EBWD. Sounds like its being "gate crashed". Guessing if Fairford ends with the Korean team then they can transit up to OW before their display slot.

I think if you can manage to get the Republic of Korea's Air Force display team to do a couple of flypasts, it's a deviation worth taking!DOUGHNUT wrote: ↑Mon 11 Jul 2022, 3:46 pmO dear, this evening show was originally planned as a 90th anniversary celebration for the opening of Old Warden airfield and Richard Shuttleworth purchasing Moth G-EBWD. So did anyone go or was everyone at Fairford? How was it?

I seem to be the only one who went, so I would say a typical but very good Shuttleworth evening show. There was a very hairy incident with the M1C but a superb bit of airmanship saved the day. Highlights (for me) where the Arrow Active, Miles Gemini and the barnstorming.

Seized engine by all accounts in the M1C sadly. Dodge was lucky to get it over the hedge.Tobyone1985 wrote: ↑Wed 03 Aug 2022, 8:54 pmI seem to be the only one who went, so I would say a typical but very good Shuttleworth evening show.
