Re: Albatross at Bempton Cliffs
Lovely Paul, it took me 2 year and then 2 consecutive days to see the thing last month and even then all it did on day 2 was lie on its grassy cliff looking bored which raised (my) concerns that it had contracted AI. Safe to say that the day after I was there it was back to its former active self giving cliff-top sailing performances!

Was over there in June but we didn't see it unfortunately.

Re: Albatross at Bempton Cliffs
Thanks all, first time I'd been there, a great place, the Gannets and Kittiwakes in particular are really close and my daughter was more than pleased to see her first Puffin, she even managed to get a reasonable pic with the loan of the 200-500 on my old D300S, although my heart was a little skippy as she perched it over the cliff!
