Some fine images that you've posted here, Andy.

Those T-6s are a bugger to expose correctly and you have nailed those blacks. They gave me all sorts of trouble at Wanaka a few years ago. You have also used a great combo of shutter speed and aperture to achieve nice prop blur and a depth of field that keeps all of the aircraft in focus. Outstanding!
Cheers,

Cheers Gents -

The Blackhawk was funny - I took the Mrs to the airport to fly to Auckland to see her sister – as I was driving away I turned on the radio (NZ equivalent of Radio 4) and the news started as I paid to get out of the car park.
The headline news item was “ Nelson council hopes people will stay away from trying to view the Blackhawk Helicopter lifting trees that came down in the recent floods – as it is a health and safety risk” – Fortunately I had the camera in the car and within ten minutes I was in Nelson and found the helicopter and very thankful for the public service announcement!

Lovely shots Andy! I've saved a few of HKU as I've got a model planned of her in this rather fetching scheme.

And speaking of PSAs... :nerd:
